We officially ended classes two weeks ago. Today I volunteered in our university hospital as I usually do once a week in the respiratory department. Today we had a seminar on ethical issues related to end-of-life care that was very insightful. After my shift I got tutored in anatomy to get a headstart on the semester. At the end of my session I pulled up my final grades which I have checked 1000 times already but nothing had been posted yet. But today grades were finally up! I got an A in my chemistry class and my math class and I’m so excited. I feel like I can do anything now.
Throughout the semester I felt defeated, and often times down, wondering if this is the right path for me or if I was even capable of completing this sort of rigorous coursework. But today, I prove to myself that I could. I am totally stunned and it definitely gave me the motivation to keep going.
